The last couple of months have been interesting in the fact that Mo has been interviewing for PA schools, 2 in Arizona and 1 at ISU. I was fortunate enough to head out with him for one of the interviews in Glendale, AZ and up to ISU in one fast trip. I pretty much found out that Arizona is the opposite of Alaska. Arizona is one of the sunniest states and Alaska is pretty much the darkest state. Arizona has about 320 days a year of sunshine and Alaska is around 178 sunny (or partly sunny) days a year. And of course there's the climate. Arizona's coldest part of winter is an average summer Alaska day. So anyway, moving to Arizona would be quite a change and it is becoming more of a reality since Mo just found out he has been accepted to one of the schools there. We're still going to wait it out a little longer to see what other schools take an interest in my man! We took a couple of pics in the 70 degree weather in Arizona, in late November mind you.
This was the first day we got there and we had been traveling all day. I had not changed from my Alaskan attire (the fleece i'm wearing), but Mo was prepared with a short sleeved shirt.
Did anyone else know they grew cotton in
Arizona? By the way, that's the Arizona Cardinals stadium behind the cotton! Go figure!
And of course, the beautful palm trees all over Arizona. Don't see a lot of those in AK!
