So the past month seems to have flown by and we've been able to have a little fun along the way. Let's see, the month started off by watching the start of the 2008 Iditarod. I went with Eric and Danielle and let me tell you, it was cold! Eric and Danielle didn't seem to mind the cold temps, but of course I had to keep slinking into buildings to try to warm up, one of which was a bar and the guy tried to card me. I was thinking sorry buddy, I'm not in here to drink booz at 10 in the morning, then turned around and saw a full house of people enjoying their early morning brew. Hmm.... Anyway it was pretty darn fun to see the dog mushers gearing up for 1000+ miles trip from Anchorage to Nome, AK. It's pretty amazing to me to think that those cute little dogs can pull that sled for THAT long. First of all, this guy was awesome, I mean who wouldn't want a picture with him???

Cool! I've always thought it would be fun to watch. Maybe next time you should get a hold of some of that guy's wardrobe. He looks pretty warm!
