President Hinkley
I found out about President Hinkley's passing while I was on the phone with my mom last night. He was the only 97 year old man that shocked me to learn about his passing. Although it was obvious he was getting older watching him at each general conference, he always had that sparkle in his eye that just made you think he'd always be around. But he will still be around, if only in spirit by the fruits of all his labors. His accomplishments are truely remarkable and can be found in detail in all the articles that are posted in the SL trib, Deseret News, LDS newsroom, etc. For me he was always someone to look up to, and he gave me hope that this world does still have good people living in it. He was the perfect example of love, kindness, leadership, sacrifice, service, etc. and I'm sure the heaven's (and his wife) are surely rejoicing at his arrival.
